Perspectus Architecture promotes two
to Principal
CLEVELAND, OH; August 29, 2007 -- Perspectus
Architecture announced today that Peter Bohan,
AIA and Michael Lipowski, AIA NCARB
have been promoted from Project Directors to Principals
of the Cleveland-based professional design firm.
Bohan and Lipowski will join founding principals Bill
Ayars, AIA NCARB ACHA and Larry Fischer, AIA NCARB ACHA
as Principals. Both Bohan and Lipowski are experienced
in providing master planning, technical design development,
construction document and administrative leadership
for healthcare, educational and corporate clients. With
this promotion, they will become more active in the
business decisions which guide the direction of the
company.
Fisher said, “Bill and I have worked with Peter
and Mike for more than 10 years, and they are deeply
committed to the architecture profession and to the
Greater Cleveland community. They are well-respected
by their associates, and we are thrilled that they are
taking on a larger role with Perspectus.”
As Project Director, Bohan has completed projects for
The Ohio State University, the Ohio State Highway Patrol,
Cleveland Clinic and Mercy Hospital of Tiffin.
Since 1989, Bohan has made a significant impact on
the local community through his volunteer work with
Habitat for Humanity. He designed a Habitat for Humanity
house that was awarded the “Best Design under
1,500 square feet” by the Cleveland Builders Association
in 1996. Other Habitat for Humanity affiliates around
the country have since adapted this beautifully efficient
plan. Bohan was also recognized among Crain’s
Cleveland Business’ “40 Under 40”
in 2006.
Bohan earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from
University of Notre Dame, and he participated in the
University’s Rome Studies Program. A resident
of Cleveland Heights, Bohan is a registered Architect
in the state of Ohio.
As Project Director, Lipowski has completed projects
for Southwest General Health Center, The Ohio State
University, Lake Hospitals System and Memorial Hospital
of Fremont.
Lipowski chaired the volleyball committee of the Cleveland
AIA chapter for five years, which donates proceeds to
Habitat for Humanity. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture
degree from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. He
participated in the University’s program in Florence,
Italy, at Dante Alighieri. A resident of Avon, Lipowski
is a registered Architect in the state of Ohio.
