Joseph Wilson joins Perspectus Architecture
Full service architectural firm continues strategic growth in spite of lagging economy
CLEVELAND, OH; November 6, 2008 -- Perspectus Architecture, a full-service architectural firm based at Shaker Square in Cleveland, announced today the appointment of Joseph Wilson, P.E. as Director of Construction Administration.
Wilson has 32 years of experience providing leadership for healthcare and educational projects. Over the past 21 years, he has directed capital projects for Fairview Hospital and Ursuline College and has served as project manager with a major Cleveland construction management company handling the complete rebuilding of the East Cleveland School System.
Larry Fischer, AIA, Founding Principal of Perspectus Architecture, said, “Joe’s background is highly specialized in healthcare capital budgeting and project implementation. He has worked with virtually all healthcare administrative structures, engineering systems and design types. His ability to organize and facilitate communications in a complex academic and healthcare environment is highly regarded throughout the industry.”
Working directly with architects, engineers and construction managers to ensure that every detail is constructed properly, Wilson maintains a collaborative, professional approach with open communication. Prior to joining Perspectus, he helped build an exceptional list of projects, including: a major medical/surgical nursing tower replacement for Fairview Hospital; a new student center for Ursuline College; and most recently, the rebuilding of the East Cleveland schools.
Given Perspectus’ healthcare focus, Wilson’s leadership for Joint Commission on Hospital Accreditation (JCAHO) statement of conditions surveys and his knowledge of the AIA Guidelines for Healthcare Design and Construction will prove to be invaluable to the firm’s client base.
A longtime resident of North Olmsted, Wilson earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Degree from Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio, and he completed the Executive Healthcare Administration Program at The Ohio State University.
