Perspectus Architecture receives recognition in DESIGN Magazine
Marymount’s Continuum Center is specially designed for residents

August 15, 2004; Cleveland, Ohio – Perspectus Architecture, a Cleveland-based professional design firm, was featured in DESIGN Magazine, an annual publication of nursing homes/long term care management.

The national magazine profiles the Marymount Health Care Systems’ Continuum Center in Garfield Heights, Ohio, designed by William Ayars AIA NCARB, architect and principal of Perspectus Architecture.

The 65,500 square-foot Continuum Center enhances and complements services through the addition of dementia and skilled nursing programs to the existing independent living and nursing facilities currently on the campus.

A new Town Center provides activity space to enhance the quality of life for the entire campus, including a chapel, a convenience store and dining space. Planning the 24-resident dementia facility revolved around the special needs of these individuals, especially as it relates to the psychological impact of the design.

Based at Shaker Square, Perspectus Architecture is a full-service architectural firm providing creative solutions to its clients’ project needs. The firm works with many leading healthcare and research institutions, universities and municipalities in Ohio and other midwestern states. Perspectus maintains and builds client relationships through professional service and experience.
