The Ohio State University & James
Cancer Hospital

Projects for The Ohio State University Medical Center and Solove Research Institute feature integration of highly technical components to improve patient services and bring these facilities to the forefront of advanced healthcare and research centers.

This process included master planning, programming and project implementation services for James Cancer Hospital’s first, second and third floor renovations, including inpatient and outpatient blood and marrow transplant units. The first floor project will upgrade the facility and increase patient capacity, while the second floor ambulatory services project includes Phase One clinical trial research as well as chemotherapy, exam clinic, pharmacy and lab renovations.

At the James Cancer Hospital’s Stoneridge facility, the ambulatory center was seeking to increase their visibility in the growing community and expand services related to chemotherapy, surgical, medical and radiation oncology. The master planning defines the components of diagnostic, high risk, multimodality, clinical and translational research in a 129,000 square foot expansion and renovation.
