Perspectus Architecture provided a Property Needs Assessment of The Welsh Home’s existing 22,128 square foot skilled nursing facility. This assessment was done in the context of having a new 45-bed skilled nursing addition come online in 2011. The objective of the study was to develop a strategy which will upgrade the existing facility to the standards of the new addition, to establish estimates of cost, and an implementation schedule.

The team included architects, engineers and interior design professionals who met with selected staff, toured the facility, reviewed licensing surveys, existing drawings and documented conditions and recommendations.
