Prior to joining Perspectus Architecture, Jim Wallis was in charge of leading the design and implementation of a new state-of-the-art synthetic football field for Perry High School in Perry, Ohio. The new synthetic turf field replaced an existing astro turf surface and included new base and drainage improvements below. Team logos in the end zone and field stripping for football and soccer were all part of this new low-maintenance field with increased safety for the players. The synthetic turf includes an alternate color scheme every five yards giving the field the appearance of freshly mown grass. Architect of Record: Wallis Architects.
