The Canterbury Golf Club Master Plan included improvements to the Clubhouse, Driving Range and Golf Course. Clubhouse additions and alterations were based on a new Member Bar and Casual Grille Room called the "Piccard Lounge." The adjacent Banquet/Dining Room was redesigned with an interior to match the decor of the Club.

An outdoor patio space with a fireplace is accessible from the member dining and banquet rooms and overlooks the historic golf course. Golf Course improvements include a new driving range with year-round teaching center and stone bridges throughout the links.

The Master Planning was done by Jim Wallis, prior to Perspectus. Perspectus Architecture was hired as the Architect for the Clubhouse Renovation, with Jim Wallis as Project Manager. The club hosted the 2009 Senior PGA Championship soon after the renovation was completed.
